International Collaborations

Alibaba and PITAD are in the process of collaboration to arrange 2 weeks training of Officers of MOC on E-Commerce in China and Development of Course Module for PITAD for arranging trainings for Provincial Officers, Businesses, Women Entrepreneurs, SMEs.

WIPO: Collaboration between PITAD-WIPO for developing the Course Module of MOC trade diplomats/trade officers and with MOC is in the final stages.
WWF: Collaboration for trainings in the trade of endangered species of plants/exotic animals & birds. Workshops and training modules would be developed together to build the capacity of Trade Officers and enforcement agencies.
We are in the process of engaging with WTI, UNCTAD, USAID, KOICA, JAICA, UKAID, COMMONWEALTH SECRETARIAT, CBI, AUSAID, WTO (Tourism) to establish collaborations with these relevant organizations for technical cooperation.
PITAD is part of SCO Economic Think Tank Alliance.

National Collaborations

PITAD has offered IPO to house its IP Academy for offering trainings on IPR to provinces, IPR Enforcement Agencies, businesses to strengthen capacity/awareness and develop IP infrastructure to give a strong message to the global community that Pakistan is serious about IPR.
Provinces: PITAD has developed modules on Domestic Commerce for capacity building of officers of 04 provinces & 03 administrative regions (AJK, ICT, Gilgit/Baltistan). One training of 40 participants already concluded on 21-25 September 2020. Second training is being scheduled in 1st week of Feb 2025.
PITAD organises capacity building trainings for officers/officials of TCP, NTC, women entrepreneurs, various chambers etc.
