Meeting with Representatives of the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Director General of the Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development (PITAD) held a constructive meeting with representatives of the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including its Senior Vice President, to discuss specialized trainings for capacity building of the private sector and women entrepreneurs.

 

Building on this initiative, PITAD will also extend these designated and planned trainings to members of the Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce (RWCCI), Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). This inclusive approach ensures that a wider spectrum of private sector entrepreneurs’ benefit from tailored programs designed to strengthen institutional capacity and competitiveness.

In addition, PITAD will organize webinars with Trade and Investment Officers (TIOS) for members and businesses of these chambers. These sessions will focus on enhancing market intelligence capabilities, enabling entrepreneurs to better understand global trade dynamics and seize emerging opportunities.

The DG PITAD reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to fostering gender-inclusive development, private sector empowerment, and sustainable trade growth through strategic training and research initiatives, tailored for women entrepreneurs and businesses in Islamabad and Rawalpindi Regions.
