The attachment for probationary officers of the 30th Specialized Training Programme (STP) was organized on the final day of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting held in Islamabad. This initiative aimed to provide the officers with direct exposure to high-level international diplomacy, multilateral negotiations, and the processes involved in hosting global forums.

During the attachment, the probationary officers had the opportunity to observe the concluding discussions of the SCO meeting, engage with diplomats and officials, and learn about the strategic importance of multilateral cooperation in regional and global governance. They also gained insights into the operational aspects of hosting international events, including coordination, protocol, and security arrangements.

This experience helped the officers understand the complexities of international relations, preparing them for future roles in public administration and enhancing their ability to contribute to Pakistan’s foreign policy and diplomatic initiatives.
