The Country Study Tour/Field Visit to Faisalabad was organized for Trade and Investment Officers (TIOs) to provide them with an in-depth understanding of the city’s industrial landscape, especially its pivotal role in the textile sector. Faisalabad, known as the “Manchester of Pakistan,” is a key hub for textile manufacturing, and the visit aimed to showcase its contribution to the national economy.

During the field visits, TIOs toured textile mills, interacted with local business leaders, and explored opportunities for investment and trade in the region. The visit also highlighted Faisalabad’s potential in other sectors, such as agriculture and manufacturing.
